The Annual Meeting is a special gathering and a chance to highlight community progress, in the past year and over the longer term. In 2016 alone, the Foundation distributed $6.6 million in grants and scholarships, received over $5.7 million in gifts, and welcome many new members into our family of funds. Over the four decades our record of granting and endowment building tells of a generous community. Thanks to a dedicated staff and extensive volunteer networks, we have focused on widening opportunity for all. This year’s annual meeting on May 17 will feature guest speaker, Maria Z. Mossaides, Child Advocate for the Commonwealth. With this event we continue to invite all concerned citizens to help make Worcester work for all kids.
Join us at our Annual Meeting on Wednesday, May 17 at Mechanics Hall beginning at 4:30PM. If you haven’t already done so, please RSVP to Kelly Stimson at events@greaterworcester.org to reserve your spot.
