Few things make the days fly faster than being extremely busy. The final quarter of each year is always a focus for any fundraising organization, and the final weeks of December were among the most active we’ve seen in recent memory.

While quietly celebrating the Foundation’s 40th Year in 2015, we enjoyed tremendous impact and growth during the year. A significant milestone was reached with $100 million distributed since inception. In 2015 alone, all told we granted $5.4 million in grants and scholarships, started 17 new funds, and received over $5.3 million in gifts.
Beyond the dollars, we reflect on several fruitful partnerships with other organizations to promote Leadership Worcester, The Data Common, Summer Learning, and Dialogues on Race. These efforts and more are the basis of our continued work to build a strong and healthy community in 2016.
With sincere thanks to our dedicated donors, volunteers, and nonprofit friends, working together to improve lives and conditions for all who live in Central Massachusetts.
