For Nonprofits

What is NTL?
Nourishing Tomorrow's Leaders (NTL) is a nine week course that teaches participants how to become effective nonprofit board members while aiming to increase diverse representation on nonprofit boards in Worcester County. The goal of NTL is twofold. We strive to give participants the tools, connections, and confidence needed to effectively serve on nonprofit boards and we seek to increase diverse representation on nonprofit boards.
NTL is an initiative started by The Gifford Foundation over a decade ago with a focus on leadership development through board service. We are proud to have brought this program to Worcester County in 2025 and grow a group of NTL alumni here.

- Is any age!
- Particularly has a skill set nonprofit boards are always looking for (marketing, communications, HR, legal, finance, IT etc.…)
- Believes diverse representation and inclusiveness is importation
- Lives and or works in Worcester County
- Wants to expand their network

- Multiple members of the same nonprofit board (or for full boards to apply)
- Folks who live outside of Worcester County
