That's why we're proud to welcome the newest participants in two of our signature leadership development programs: Youth for Community Improvement and Nourishing Tomorrow's Leaders.
While these programs serve different audiences, they share a common goal: helping community members develop the skills, knowledge and connections they need to make a difference in Worcester County.
Youth for Community Improvement
YCI brings together high school students from across Worcester County for a year-long experience in leadership, philanthropy and civic engagement.
Throughout the school year, participants explore the challenges and opportunities facing our communities, learn about the work of local nonprofits and engage directly in philanthropy by recommending grants to nonprofit organizations. Along the way, students develop leadership skills, broaden their perspectives and discover how they can play a role in creating positive change.

Nourishing Tomorrow's Leaders
NTL is designed for emerging professionals who are interested in strengthening their leadership skills and becoming more involved in the nonprofit sector.
Through workshops, discussions and peer learning, participants gain a deeper understanding of nonprofit governance, community needs and effective board service. The program also helps build relationships among leaders from different sectors, creating opportunities for collaboration and shared learning.

Whether it's a high school student learning about philanthropy for the first time or an emerging professional preparing for board service, both programs create opportunities for participants to deepen their understanding of local issues, build meaningful relationships and contribute to their communities in new ways.
We're excited to support this year's cohorts as they learn, grow and lead. We look forward to seeing the impact they will make, both during their time in these programs and in the years ahead.
