GWCF’s teen philanthropy committee, Youth for Community Improvement (YCI), awards annual project grants in areas they deem as critical in our community.

This year's cohort, made up of 30 teens from six cities and towns in Worcester County, has identified the following priorities for this year's grant cycle:

  • Supporting the mental health of young people;
  • Educational support programs for youth entering college or the job market; and
  • Ensuring residents have access to basic needs.

All proposals must speak to youth voice in an authentic and meaningful way.

Applications are due November 15. For more information, visit the YCI Fund page.
