The Foundation is now accepting grant applications for projects that improve access to healthcare as well as improve health outcomes for the community.

Each year, GWCF awards approximately $200,000 in grants from the Fallon/OrNda Community Health Fund, prioritizing projects that:

  • Create outreach services to vulnerable populations;
  • Remove barriers that prevent people from receiving services;
  • Ensure access to quality services; or
  • Promote public education around health and disease prevention.

“We know that access to healthcare is critical to building a more resilient community,” said Barbara Fields, CEO of the Foundation, “We look forward to once again investing in innovative healthcare solutions for Worcester County.”

The Fallon/OrNda Community Health Fund was established at GWCF in 1996. Since then, the Foundation has awarded more than $4.3 million from the fund to advance the overall health of communities in Worcester County.
