The Foundation today announced the awardees of its Leicester Savings Bank Fund. The fund seeks projects that work to build a stronger community and improve the quality of life for all in Leicester through community development, education, recreation, human services, or the arts. Those organizations receiving funds this year are:

  • Audio Journal Inc. for support of the Leicester Connection.
  • Harvest Fair Committee for support of the 2018 Harvest Fair.
  • Leicester Christmas Display, Inc. for support of the 2018 Christmas display.
  • Leicester Council on Aging for salary support for their Outreach Coordinator.
  • Leicester Little League, Inc. towards the purchase of a new batting cage.
  • Leicester Middle School Council towards the purchase of supplies for the CommuniTeen program.
  • Leicester Summer Concert Series Committee for support of the 2018 concert series.
  • Make-A-Change Inc. for programming support to provide opportunities and experiences for youth in foster care.
  • Massachusetts Audubon Society for supplemental curriculum support for science learning in Leicester Public Schools.
  • Second Chance Animal Shelter to host a Homebound to the Rescue clinic in Leicester.
  • Senior Citizen Club of Leicester for its entertainment series programming.
  • St. Joseph and St. Pius X Parishes for support of the food pantry.
  • Talk, Tears and Tea for operational support in its support group program.
  • Town of Leicester - Burncoat Park Sports Planning Committee in support of the rehabilitation project of Burncoat Park.
