The Foundation today announced the awarding of $38,300 through the Leicester Savings Bank Fund that will improve the quality of life for Leicester residents. Those who received funding will help make a positive difference for the Leicester community's vulnerable citizens by improving life through community development, education, recreation, the arts, or human services.
The following organizations received grants from the Leicester Savings Bank Fund:

- Hearts for Heat Inc./Leicester Hearts for Heat
- Leicester Police Department- DARE
- Leicester Middle School
- Hope in Hands Community Garden
- Massachusetts Audubon Society
- Leicester Police Department- Police Memorial
- Science from Scientists
